The Black Label Trading Co. Killer Bee Connecticut is a striking 4½" × 46 Corona handcrafted at Fábrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua. A golden Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper is accented with strips of dark Ecuadorian Maduro at the cap and foot, creating the distinctive bee-striped appearance that gives the Killer Bee its name. Beneath the wrapper is a Nicaraguan Habano binder and all-Nicaraguan filler.
Medium-bodied and remarkably flavourful, the Killer Bee Connecticut delivers cream, oak, butter and cinnamon alongside cedar, coffee, earth and pepper. Reviewers have particularly praised its balance, generous smoke production and excellent construction, with the Connecticut wrapper bringing a creamy texture to the blend.
Fog & Flame Notes: This may be one of the coolest-looking cigars we carry. The contrasting Connecticut and Maduro leaves are applied by hand to create the Killer Bee's signature striped cap and foot, showcasing the kind of detail Black Label Trading Co. has become known for. But there's plenty behind the appearance: this is a compact, flavourful boutique cigar with creaminess, spice and excellent balance packed into a 4½" × 46 format. Originally released as a small-batch cigar in 2018, its popularity eventually brought it back as a regular-production member of the Killer Bee line.
