Tasting notes: Floral, Tangerine Candy, Peach, Lemon
Faysel Abdosh G1 Premium comes from smallholder farms around Deri in Guji Hambela, where Ethiopian heirloom varieties grow at 2,350–2,400 metres. The coffee is processed at Testi’s newest washing station, named for founder Faysel Abdosh and built on the producer’s experience refining coffee preparation over sixteen years.
For this double-fermentation washed lot, whole cherries spend 24 hours in anaerobic immersion until the pH reaches 4.3. After depulping, the coffee undergoes another 24 hours of cold-water fermentation to a pH of 4.0. The result is a bright, aromatic cup with floral notes, tangerine candy, peach and lemon.
