Better Morning Starter Bag
Tell me how you like coffee. I'll roast your bag to match.
Most coffee shopping is a guess. You read a label covered in tasting notes and somehow decide whether you'll like it at 6am. The bag shows up wrong. It goes stale on the counter.
I do it backwards. You pick a profile in plain English, I roast to it — same day if you order by noon Eastern — and I cover the $10 shipping.
Pick your profile
Bold & traditional — Deep, rich, unapologetically coffee-flavored. For black coffee drinkers who don't want fruit in the cup. This is a medium-dark roast.
Smooth & chocolatey — Cocoa, caramel, low acidity. The crowd-pleaser. Great with milk, still great without. This is a medium roast.
Fruity & adventurous — Bright, floral, closer to tea than to office coffee. For anyone who loved a light roast once and couldn't find it again. This is a light-medium roast.
Why you'll love it
No stale beans. Order by noon Eastern and your coffee is roasted that same day.
No bitter guesswork. You pick in plain English. I handle the translation.
No burnt taste. Even the boldest profile stops short of scorched.
No wrong-bag regret. Bad match? I roast you a different profile, free.
No shipping charge. It runs me about $10 a bag. Shipping's on me.
No new gear. Whatever you brew with right now is fine.
What's in the bag
10 oz · Whole bean or ground · Q-graded 85+ · Roast date printed on every bag · Every order ships free (applies automatically)
Why the profile matters
Roast level decides whether you like a coffee more than origin does. Lighter roasts keep the fruit and acidity. Darker roasts trade that for body and sweetness. Neither is better.
Most disappointing specialty coffee isn't bad coffee. It's a bright Ethiopian handed to someone who wanted something chocolatey. Your profile tells me where to roast so that doesn't happen to you.
I'll Find Your Cup Guarantee
If your bag isn't what you hoped for, tell me. I'll roast a different profile and ship it free. Nothing to send back.
