Benromach Single Cask Last Call Whisky Podcast 2015 Cask #725 is an exclusive, single cask single malt Scotch whisky specially selected in collaboration with the Last Call Whisky Podcast. Distilled in 2015 at the Benromach Distillery, this hand-selected expression was matured in a single oak cask before being bottled at cask strength, showcasing Benromach's classic hand-crafted Speyside character with rich malt sweetness, subtle peat smoke, and unique cask complexity.
Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, aged Gouda, dark chocolate truffles, or sticky toffee pudding.
Tasting Notes : Rich golden amber hue with a full-bodied, mouth-coating, and oily texture on the palate.
Nose : Sweet honeyed malt, subtle heather peat smoke, dried orchard fruits, vanilla, toasted oak, and light citrus zest.
Palate : Rich and complex with layers of sweet stewed apples, creamy vanilla, warm oak spice, gentle bonfire smoke, and cracked black pepper.
Finish : Long, warming, and well-balanced with lingering sweet malt, dry oak tannins, and delicate lingering peat smoke.
Serve : Served neat at room temperature in a Glencairn glass, or with a few drops of water to unlock hidden aromas.
