Experience the exceptional with Benriach 2012 Strictly Limited Port Finished, a rare Speyside single malt that showcases the artistry of cask finishing. Distilled in 2012 and bottled at 700mL, this limited-edition whisky spent its final maturation in hand-selected port casks, infusing it with rich layers of fruit and subtle spice.
On the nose, expect sweet red berries, candied citrus, and gentle oak. The palate reveals a beautiful harmony of raspberry jam, stewed plums, dark chocolate, and a whisper of nutmeg—rounded out by the velvety influence of the port cask. The finish is long, smooth, and delightfully warming.
Bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered to preserve its full character, this expression is a true collector’s gem and a must-try for whisky connoisseurs.
Tasting Notes:
-
Nose: Ripe red fruits, toffee, vanilla, and toasted oak
