The Bellucci Espresso Bar is a stainless steel semi-automatic espresso machine that does something unusual at this price: it uses a genuine 58 mm commercial portafilter. That single decision puts the entire world of professional baskets, tampers, distributors and puck screens within reach — accessories that simply don't fit the 51 mm and 54 mm hardware most entry-level machines are built around.
Why the 58 mm portafilter matters
58 mm is the café standard. Choosing it means your technique, your tamper and your baskets all carry forward if you upgrade later, and it gives you a wider, shallower puck that is more forgiving to distribute evenly. Very few machines under $1,000 offer it.
Key features
- Professional 58 mm stainless steel portafilter: Full-size, properly weighted, and compatible with standard commercial accessories.
- Thermoblock heating system: Heats in well under a minute from cold, so there's no waiting around for a boiler to come up to temperature before the first shot.
- 15 bar pump: Delivers ample pressure for espresso extraction with headroom for pressurised baskets while you're learning.
- Programmable volumetric dosing: Save your single and double shot volumes and pull them repeatably at the press of a button.
- Manual steam wand: Real hands-on milk texturing — the way to learn latte art properly, rather than a panarello that just makes foam.
- 1.7 L removable water tank: Generous for a machine this compact; comfortably handles a morning of back-to-back drinks.
- Full stainless steel construction: Solid, wipe-clean, and built to sit on a counter for years rather than seasons.
