The Bandidos Smooth n' Sweet is a cigarillo for the smoker who wants something quick, inexpensive and a little less polished around the edges. Handmade in Honduras, these rustic 4.7" x 32 cigarillos use a dark Sumatra wrapper around Honduran filler tobacco, with no conventional binder. The finishing touch is a lightly sweetened head, giving Bandidos their characteristic sweetness without turning them into a heavily flavored cigar.
There isn't much reason to overanalyze a Bandidos, and that's part of the appeal. The profile is mellow and tobacco-forward, with a touch of earth and wood underneath the sweetness at the head. The narrow 32 ring keeps the smoke direct and aromatic, while the handmade construction gives it more of a traditional cheroot character than the typical machine-made cigarillo. Expect roughly a short-break smoke rather than a miniature premium-cigar experience.
Bandidos are the cigars to keep around when the occasion doesn't call for anything precious. Working in the yard, walking the dog, driving across town or simply wanting fifteen or twenty minutes with some tobacco—this is where Smooth n' Sweet earns its place. They're rustic, mildly sweet and uncomplicated, and sometimes that's exactly what a cigar ought to be.
