The Ballina Triarach Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a richly layered triple distilled, triple wood matured expression that combines tradition with modern refinement. Named “Triarach” to reflect its triple maturation process, this elegant single malt is aged in a carefully balanced combination of bourbon casks (50%), Oloroso sherry casks (40%), and ruby port casks (10%), each contributing distinctive depth and complexity to the final whiskey.
The result is a luxurious and full-bodied Irish whiskey that evolves beautifully in the glass. On the nose, aromas of stewed plums, poached pears, and festive baking spices immediately create warmth and richness. The palate is exceptionally smooth and mouth-coating, opening with layers of ripe plum, caramel sweetness, figs, dates, and subtle nuttiness, all balanced by the influence of the three cask types.
The finish is long and satisfying, revealing notes of banana bread and lingering spice that add further depth and character. Whether enjoyed neat, paired with rhubarb soda, or used in a refined Irish Manhattan, Ballina Triarach delivers a modern yet deeply traditional take on Irish single malt whiskey.
For fans of premium Irish whiskey in Ireland, Triarach offers a sophisticated showcase of cask influence, texture, and balance.
