Baldoria Vermouth Maté is an innovative and complex dry vermouth crafted in Boves, Piedmont, using a white wine base of Chardonnay and Cortese. Created through a dynamic infusion of South American yerba maté tea leaves alongside traditional vermouth botanicals including wormwood, gentian, and citrus peel, it bridges South American herbal tradition with Italian vermouth craftsmanship. In the glass, it presents a pale straw color with subtle greenish reflections. The nose opens with vibrant aromas of earthy green tea, dried herbs, white pepper, and fresh citrus zest. On the palate, it is crisp, dry, and invigorating, offering a harmonious balance of herbal tea depth, bright acidity, and a refined, pleasantly bitter finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with empanadas, grilled white meats, cured meats, aged cheeses, spiced nuts, smoked fish, and savory tapas.
