Privada Storytelling
Baja Blast is Chico Rivas at his most playful and masterful. Rolled in Tamboril, the beating heart of Dominican cigar culture, this robusto puro reflects four years of careful rest inside Privada’s signature coolers. Its name evokes energy and flavor — a nod to bold refreshment — but its soul is firmly rooted in artisanal tradition.
This release is a celebration of what makes Dominican puros truly special: layered sweetness, spice, and a mineral depth that only local soil can impart. Baja Blast is both a tribute to Chico’s blending genius and a reminder of why Privada continues to uncover treasures others overlook.
Flavor Journey
From the first draw, syrupy molasses and warm caramel coat the palate, creating a rich and comforting foundation. Soon, a lively burst of citrus and herbs brightens the profile, keeping the experience refreshing. Midway, cinnamon and mineral salts add complexity, grounding the sweetness in savory depth. The final third weaves it all together — sweet, spicy, and vibrant — a balanced conclusion that lingers gracefully.
Why It Belongs in Privada
The LCA Baja Blast demonstrates Privada’s ability to merge curation with patience. By aging Chico Rivas’ blend for four years in Privada coolers, the cigar transformed into something that transcends its origins — refined, balanced, and rare. It’s a showcase of what long-term vision and boutique artistry can create, making it a perfect expression of the LCA ethos.
