Aultmore 12 Year Old is a classic Speyside single malt, aromatic and fragrant in style. Its exceptionally smooth, clean and fruity character traces back to the Foggie Moss, where the distillery's water source filters through bracken, gorse and heather. Bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The aroma is delicate and ethereal, with crisp apple and pear opening into ripe soft fruits and honeysuckle blooms, balanced by herbal notes of thyme, chervil and cut flower stems. The palate is sweet, with vanilla set on a biscuit base and a lingering finish.
Elegant and uncomplicated, grassy and herbal, with notes of rosemary and thyme running through a refined 12 year old Speyside profile.
