The Arturo Fuente King B Sun Grown is a stately, pyramid-shaped cigar that embodies the masterful craftsmanship and blending prowess of the Fuente family. Part of the esteemed Sun Grown series, the King B pairs a silky Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper with a meticulously aged Dominican binder and filler blend. Its unique 6 x 55 Pyramid format allows for a gradual concentration of flavor, offering an elegant smoking experience that is both bold and nuanced. From the first glance, the King B’s flawless construction, rich hue, and inviting aroma signal the level of quality that Fuente loyalists have come to expect.
Upon lighting, the King B greets the palate with a rush of warm cedar, toasted almonds, and subtle baking spices. The sun-kissed wrapper brings an immediate sweetness and a gentle zest that lingers on the tongue. The cigar’s impeccable draw produces dense, creamy smoke that carries notes of honeyed wood and faint floral undertones, adding a sophisticated layer to the profile. This early stage is balanced and inviting, offering complexity without sharpness.
Midway through, the King B’s flavors deepen and evolve. Rich cocoa and leather emerge, accompanied by a more pronounced spice that enhances the warmth of the cedar core. The Pyramid shape subtly intensifies the blend as you progress, creating a smooth crescendo of taste and aroma. The burn remains straight and deliberate, with a sturdy ash that holds well, reflecting the precision and consistency of Fuente’s rolling expertise.
Medium-to-full in body, the Arturo Fuente King B Sun Grown is a cigar for those who appreciate harmony between strength and refinement. It’s as fitting for a celebratory toast as it is for an unhurried evening of quiet reflection. With its regal character, layered flavors, and flawless execution, the King B stands as a crown jewel in the Fuente Sun Grown lineup—an experience that rewards both the casual smoker and the dedicated connoisseur.
