Creating an exceptional wine is a labor of love—just ask any farmer who grows great grapes. Beyond passion and dedication, farming grapes requires perfect weather conditions, like the cool climate that produced this crisp, classic Pinotage in 2018. This elegant wine is unmistakably South African. You’ll get a taste of the terroir in every glass with notes of fynbos (an Afrikaans word that describes the aromatic shrubs growing on the African Cape), slate, and graphite that complement a rich bouquet of chocolate-covered cherries. Enjoy this wine al fresco with pork, black beans, and sweet potato fries. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver medal at the 2020 Winemaker Challenge.
