Antinori Tignanello 2023
A true icon of Italian winemaking, Tignanello 2023 continues the legacy of one of the world's most influential wines. Produced by the renowned Marchesi Antinori estate in the heart of Tuscany, Tignanello helped define the Super Tuscan category by combining Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, creating a wine that revolutionised modern Italian wine.
Crafted from the historic Tignanello vineyard in Chianti Classico, the 2023 vintage displays remarkable purity, elegance and precision. Matured predominantly in new French oak, with a small proportion of Hungarian oak, the wine balances vibrant fruit with refined structure and exceptional ageing potential.
- The nose opens with aromas of ripe cherry, pomegranate and blood orange, layered with violet, hibiscus and delicate floral notes.
- The palate is rich and beautifully defined, revealing juicy red and dark fruits, cocoa, graphite, white pepper and silky tannins.
- The finish is long, savoury and persistent, with lingering notes of blood orange, roasted hazelnut and sweet spice.
Already captivating in its youth yet capable of rewarding long-term cellaring, Tignanello 2023 is a benchmark Super Tuscan that showcases the elegance, power and innovation that have made it legendary.
Perfectly paired with grilled beef, roast lamb, game dishes and mature hard cheeses.
