This 8 oz pack is certified organic, non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan friendly with no added sugars or fillers. Use it to color and flavor recipes without the fuss of fresh fruit—perfect when fresh pitaya is out of season or when you need a consistent, easy-to-store ingredient.
How does this powder behave in smoothies and drinks?
The powder dissolves quickly in cold and room-temperature liquids, adding a subtle tropical sweetness and vivid pink hue without diluting texture. It blends smoothly in high-speed blenders and hand-shaken drinks and holds color well in dairy and dairy-free bases. Expect a light fruity note rather than overpowering sweetness.
- Quickly mixes into smoothies, juices, and protein shakes
- Maintains bright color in dairy and plant-based milks
- No added sugar—control sweetness with your choice of sweetener
- Freeze-dried form means concentrated flavor without extra water
Can I use it in baking, desserts, and cooking?
Yes—Anthony's powder is versatile for baking, sauces, icings, and dessert recipes. It provides color and a delicate fruit note when folded into batters or stirred into frostings, custards, and puddings. Because it's freeze-dried, it won’t add extra moisture, which is helpful for precise recipes.
- Stir into cake batters, pancake mixes, and cookie dough
- Mix into frostings, mousse, and curds for color and flavor
- Add to dressings, glazes, and sauces for subtle fruit complexity
- Use as a natural sprinkle or dusting for plating and garnishes
