The grapes used for producing this wine were extracted from the vineyards in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, at 1.300 mt (4,300 ft.) above sea level. This area is characterized by its wide thermal amplitude, which allows for grapes of great intensity in colour, an important aromatic expression and excellent natural acidity.
FULL-BODIED, BLACK CHERRY, BLACKBERRY, CASSIS, GREEN HERBS, PEPPER, SPICE, OAK
Established in 2003 in the foothills of the highest part of the Andes, the name Andeluna became a poetic homage to the world's most extensive mountain range and to the "moon that baths it in light." Fleshy and intense, the Altitud is an authoritative wine with concentrated fruit, ripe tannins, and a lasting finish supported by necessary acidity.
