Ancho Reyes Original Chilli Liqueur
Ancho Reyes Original Chilli Liqueur is a distinctive Mexican spirit crafted from hand-selected ancho and mulato chilies. This liqueur captures the depth and complexity of chili peppers, offering a perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and warmth. The traditional recipe is inspired by centuries of Mexican heritage, resulting in a unique and versatile liqueur that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
- Nose has rich aromas of roasted chili peppers, subtle sweetness, and a hint of dark chocolate.
- Palate is smooth with a velvety texture. Deep, earthy chili flavours, balanced by brown sugar, vanilla, and light cinnamon.
- Finish is long. Warming with lingering spice and a slight smokiness.
Ancho Reyes is fantastic neat or on the rocks, but it really shines in cocktails. Try it in a Spicy Margarita, a Chili Old Fashioned, or a Michelada for a unique twist. It can also be used in a variety of savoury cocktails or paired with dark chocolate for a decadent treat.
