Alan Rubin has built his Alec Bradley cigars into one of the most popular brands in the cigar world today, with each new release seemingly outdoing the last. The Alec Bradley Magic Toast series is no exception, with the Magic Toast Toro a superstar in the making.
As Rubin tells the story, the Magic Toast concept came about when he and a business partner admired a particularly high-quality tobacco crop by flashlight in the middle of the night. They celebrated the moment with a bottle of whiskey and a toast to their good fortune. From that magical moment, the Magic Toast was born.
The Alec Bradley Magic Toast Toro is a 6” x 52 beauty expertly formed around a blend of sumptuous Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos, which are nestled inside of a Honduran and Nicaraguan double binder and leathery Honduran wrapper leaf.
The medium-to-full bodied pleasure cruise that emerges from these tobaccos massages the palate with deeply textured pepper, cedar, cocoa, earth, nut, dark fruit, and spice flavors. A subtle creaminess adds to the complexity, which builds towards a big and toasty finish. Pair the Magic Toast Toro with a Campbeltown single malt whisky for a most memorable escape.
