Julio R. Eiroa is renowned as one of the first to have tamed the mighty Corojo tobacco leaf and successfully cultivated it outside of Cuba. Under the JRE Tobacco banner, Eiroa has created the Aladino series, a luxurious collection of Corojo-based blends. The Aladino Connecticut blend makes a smooth, mellow Corojo expression perfect for any time.
The Aladino Connecticut Gordo is constructed around Authentic Corojo tobaccos grown on Eiroa’s farms throughout Honduras. Rich and savory Jamastran Valley binder and fillers are topped with a bright Connecticut wrapper leaf from Ecuador. The Corojo tobacco and Connecticut wrapper beautifully come together for a satisfyingly balanced and flavor-packed 6.5” x 50 stick.
An Aladino Connecticut Gordo cigar is a deliciously rewarding adventure featuring thickly defined earth, wood, baking spice, and white pepper flavors. Subtle herbal and sourdough notes add layers, while hints of citrus lend a zesty sweetness to the medium-bodied smoke. Flowing throughout the entire smoke is a pleasingly creamy undertone.
The Aladino Connecticut Gordo is a superb marriage of an elegant Connecticut wrapper and the rich, complex character of Authentic Corojo tobacco for which the Eiroa family is so famous. Enjoy the Aladino Connecticut Gordo anytime with easygoing beverages, including coffee, tea, ale, or sherry.
