The New World series by cigar making phenom AJ Fernandez and his father, legendary cigar man Ismael Fernandez, soared to new heights of cigar blending and craftsmanship, winning an endless parade of awards including Cigar of the Year. Could they top it? One puff of the luxurious New World Connecticut Corona Gorda cigar and the answer will be a most apparent and emphatic "Yes!"
The New World Connecticut Corona Gorda is a gorgeous 5.5" x 46 cigar loaded to the brim with plush Nicaraguan and Brazilian filler tobaccos which are tucked inside a Mexican San Andres binder and bright Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf. The total package delivers an impressively smooth 40 to 50 minute smoke.
Once this beauty is underway, rich and silky wood, leather, nut and spice flavors engulf the taste-buds in a serene ecstasy like no other. A creamy nuance adds even more tantalizing character to the medium-bodied smoke that concludes with a big, yet deliciously balanced grand finale.
Available in boxes of 20 sticks, the New World Connecticut Corona Gorda is a magnificent addition to the AJ Fernandez stable of fine smokes and should be an easy decision for cigar fans across the board to add to every day rotations.
