The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua is a bold, refined cigar that has earned its place among the world's best, including the coveted title of #1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado in 2019. Created by master blender Rafael Nodal in collaboration with AJ Fernandez, this exceptional blend is a tribute to the vibrant flavors and complexity that only Nicaragua's finest tobaccos can deliver.
Handcrafted at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Estelí, the Quattro Nicaragua is a true Nicaraguan puro, showcasing carefully selected tobaccos grown in the country's most prized regions—Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa. Each leaf is perfectly aged to create a full-bodied yet beautifully balanced smoke that's rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying.
Expect a robust flavor profile layered with dark chocolate, espresso, black pepper, earth, and hints of sweet wood, all delivered through flawless box-pressed construction and an effortless draw. The Quattro Nicaragua's signature box-pressed shape not only looks stunning but enhances the burn and intensifies the cigar's signature complexity.
Winning Cigar Aficionado's No. 1 Cigar of the Year in 2019 placed the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua in rare company — only a handful of cigars in the magazine's history have reached that position, and the Quattro earned it through exceptional flavor complexity, flawless construction, and a consistency that held across multiple vitolas and productions. Rafael Nodal's collaboration with AJ Fernandez brought together two of the industry's most respected talents, combining Nodal's blending philosophy with Fernandez's unmatched expertise in Nicaraguan tobacco cultivation and factory production. The box-pressed format is not merely aesthetic — the compression creates a slightly tighter draw that concentrates flavors and slows the burn, producing a longer, more complex smoking experience than a round vitola of the same size. A benchmark Nicaraguan puro at the highest level.
