Scotland Meets the Andes
Aberfeldy's 21 Year Old Argentinian Malbec Wine Cask Finish is a remarkable cross-continental collaboration — a Highland single malt that has spent 21 years developing its signature honeyed character before being finished in casks that once held Argentinian Malbec, one of the world's most celebrated red wine varieties. The result is a whisky of unexpected elegance: the warm, golden sweetness of Aberfeldy meeting the dark fruit, spice, and subtle tannin of Malbec in a combination that is both surprising and deeply rewarding.
- Nose: Inviting and complex — honey, vanilla, and ripe orchard fruit with a distinctive Malbec influence of dark berry, plum, and a gentle wine-cask spice
- Palate: Smooth and layered — honeyed malt, dark fruit, and a warming spice with a subtle tannin structure from the Malbec cask that adds depth and elegance
- Finish: Long and warming with lingering honey, dark fruit, and a clean, wine-spiced oak fade
