400 Conejos Añejo is an Oaxacan mezcal made from selected Espadín agaves, cooked in traditional volcanic earth pit ovens and double-distilled in copper pot stills. It then rests in ex-tequila casks for one year, long enough to carry the añejo designation. 750 ml, 40% ABV (80 proof).
The color is dark with amber tones, forming delicate tears with golden glints. The aroma leads with smoke and hints of wood, followed by cooked agave and fruity notes. On the palate it is bold and flavorful, balancing smoky and woody character with a touch of sweet caramel and vanilla that slowly fades into a gentle hint of citrus and fruit. The finish is soft and complex with a trace of smoke.
Smooth, lightly smoky and easy to drink, it suits those beginning their mezcal-drinking journey. The bottle arrives in standout colorful packaging reminiscent of Oaxaca, Mexico.
