The 1800 Watermelon RTD Margarita is a ready-to-drink cocktail in a big 1.75L bottle. Its full name is 1800 The Ultimate Margarita Watermelon. It blends 1800's premium tequila with triple sec liqueur and natural watermelon and lime flavors. It is 9.95% ABV, or 19.9 proof. The brand lists the United States as its country of origin.
There is nothing to measure or shake. Just chill it, pour it and enjoy. Serve it on the rocks, or blend it with ice for a frozen version. A bottle this size goes a long way, so it is handy for a crowd.
The color is a light red. On the nose, you get sweet sliced melon with a fresh hint of cucumber-like rind. The first sip is all juicy red fruit. It then fades into green rind and lime zest. The finish brings ripe melon and a gentle note of tequila.
It tastes sweet and tangy, like a summer fruit stand in a glass. The tequila stays smooth and in the background. That keeps it easy to drink on a hot afternoon.
Bring it to a backyard cookout, a pool day or game night. It goes well with tacos, chips and salsa or grilled shrimp. Add a salt or chili-lime rim if you like a little kick.
This bottle is made for anyone who wants a fruity margarita without the work. If you love watermelon and lime, you will be glad to have it in the fridge.
