13th Century Toasted Bourbon Still Bottle is a premium Kentucky straight bourbon that showcases the art of toasted barrel finishing. This exceptional bourbon undergoes a unique secondary maturation in heavily toasted barrels, adding layers of rich, caramelized complexity that elevate the traditional bourbon experience.
The toasting process transforms the wood sugars in the barrel staves, creating deeper caramel, vanilla, and baking spice notes while adding a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. The result is a beautifully balanced bourbon with enhanced sweetness and complexity that appeals to both bourbon enthusiasts and those new to the category.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Rich caramel, toasted vanilla, and brown sugar with hints of cinnamon and charred oak
- Palate: Smooth and full-bodied with notes of toffee, butterscotch, warm spices, and toasted oak
- Finish: Long and warming with lingering caramel, vanilla, and gentle spice
Perfect for sipping neat to appreciate the toasted barrel influence, or enjoying on the rocks. An excellent choice for bourbon lovers seeking rich, smooth character with exceptional depth.
Proof varies by barrel.
